Teach your children how to swim and water safety skills. |

On docks, boats, river banks, ponds, lakes, or any other water source have the child wear a U.S. Coastguard approved life vest (PFD Personal Flotation Device). People drown even if they can swim. Life vest need to be on properly in order to work, they will float with you or with out you. Float tubes used for fishing are NOT
considered to be a Personal Flotation Device, so you should
wear a life vest. All water is dangerous if not respected. |

Take a boating safety class if you are going to use any type water craft. |
